Wednesday, March 16, 2011 // 8:35 PM Hi world :> Been some time since I did a proper post so yea, shall do that now :) Erm yeaps Annual Camp is over (ok I am not sure whether I am allowed to post this but if I am not then I shall delete it later then) Hmmm camp, despite being mentally and physically draining, it was actually real real beneficial to the squad I guess :> Saw a lot of change in attitudes in people (for the better that is) so yea, really glad to see that. Also felt that there was better communication within the squad. I mean before this camp I don't recall myself talking to the guys much. Got to talk to them more after camp so yea, understood a bit more about them. Also felt that I have let go of some prejudices I had against certain people which is good for me again :) Erm, basically camp was super enriching. I don't even know where to start to talk about the camp... Ok I shall admit that before the camp started, all the preps were pissing me off :/ I mean I was really busy before the camp during the camp prep period with tests and all and camp stuff acted as another burden on my shoulders. I just went through the motion I guess with my occasional pms-ing and complains. However, I realised that I didn't think of the end result of completing these items, especially the importance these items would have much later (during camp that is...) Well, regretted for not realising earlier but yea, when your groupmates appreciate the work that you've done, it makes your life a whole lot better :> And erm, shall not elaborate much about the activities but just some random stuff that I felt about the camp. I feel that our squad is more bonded but this bond is still easily broken. I mean, of course we cannot immediately say we are unbonded cos we still do talk to each other and treat each other as friends. But what I mean is that, this bond is rather superficial so yea, we should genuinely try to get to know each other better and not just like by name class etc. And erm, yea, camp made me have better stamina. Didn't know I could run that far and cheer loud enough for those leading cheers :) Hehe great improvement for me ;D And last but not least CAMPFIRE WAS AWESOME!!! :D Felt that the planning was better and all :) Though the screen for the cheers all that was a tad too small... Other than that real good I guess :) And oh I felt so sad for one part of the campfire. Shall not say why since it is kinda minor... Basically I think the camp was ok lol (I think this is an informal TC report .-.) Shall continue other stuff about March Hols in another post in case I have to delete this post.
